Abba Neutral Newbie December 17, 2006 Share December 17, 2006 U prob love the AD07 dry grip but hated the hopeless wet grip Doubt U'll like the T1R dry grip cos it's vague and crappy. Totally over rated and over priced http://www.caranddriver.com/features/10252...read-page6.html A tyre comparable to AD07 is Hankook R-S2, dry grip is on par with better wet grip
Kelvinlev Neutral Newbie December 17, 2006 Author Share December 17, 2006 wow.in that case .......toyo out of the choice liao... hankook........not familiar man. maybe will try. thanks bro
Abba Neutral Newbie December 17, 2006 Share December 17, 2006 check out the Hankook thread. RS-2 popular with trackies after many switch fm AD07 including myself
Kalaplus Neutral Newbie December 17, 2006 Share December 17, 2006 is rt215 better than rs2 or AD07??
Abba Neutral Newbie December 18, 2006 Share December 18, 2006 RT215 is very very noisy, wet grip sucks and after 40% wear grip falls off teh cliff
Ferrariz Neutral Newbie December 18, 2006 Share December 18, 2006 RT215 <-- old model, new model ---> RT615 RT615 is noisy = i agree RT615 wet grip does not suck. I have tracked on RT215 on a rainy day and they hold just fine (At track speed) I have not gone more then 40% wear yet..but so far being using it for 15,000km already and its grip (feedback) is still good. Only complain is its damn noisy...
Kalaplus Neutral Newbie December 18, 2006 Share December 18, 2006 but dry is better than both? i cant be bother about the wet grip.
Abba Neutral Newbie December 18, 2006 Share December 18, 2006 haha. RT215 gives a contant whine, worst than RT615. But both the noise can die
Abba Neutral Newbie December 18, 2006 Share December 18, 2006 It's been raining much lately
Aboon Neutral Newbie December 29, 2006 Share December 29, 2006 wow.in that case .......toyo out of the choice liao... hankook........not familiar man. maybe will try. thanks bro Not actually out of choice. If you still want Toyo tires, you should get R1R rather than T1R. On Marketing wise, Toyo R1R = Yoko Advan AD07 Toyo T1R = Yoko S.Drive
Teoky Clutched December 29, 2006 Share December 29, 2006 From a guy who switched from AD007 to T1R, peace finally ! The AD007 is the one and only tire that make so much noise from the minute you move off. Most tyres only make noise at a certain speed, but the AD007 is so vocal ! The dry grip is good though. No regrets getting the T1R as it serves my requirements of being quieter than the AD007. ↡ Advertisement
