Chewingyu Neutral Newbie October 4, 2006 Share October 4, 2006 Actually, think about it, if these additives were that good in maintaining good engine, why don't petroleum companies put them in the petrol in the first place?

Mzrmazda3 6th Gear October 4, 2006 Share October 4, 2006 Wa Lau Heard from forum that 'Mxtxr Ux' tio sue by others for false claims but still see quite a number of places selling it
Pisces69 6th Gear October 4, 2006 Share October 4, 2006 Please stay away from anything with teflon or PTFE. They have been proven to damage your engine cos after awhile, the little bits flake off & clog the small oil passages & your engine wil die of oil starvation. I tried an additive called TMT long ago. Contains Teflon/PTFE. Works very well at first as your engine gets very smooth but after awhile, your engine is a gonner. I ruined 1 bike & 2 cars b4 I realised the stuff was doing the damage. The best is dont use ANY additives. Just use a good quality engine oil & change more often if u got too much $$$ & want to b safe. Do a search on Yahoo or Google on Teflon or PTFE & read all the comments there. U wil b shocked.
Pisces69 6th Gear October 4, 2006 Share October 4, 2006 They get sued but drag the cases in court. In the mean time they still sell & make big bucks. Then when they have accumulated too many claims, they can just close down & all the claims got nowhere to go. They then just start another company & start all over again with a different name & product. The profits must b really huge & that just gave me an idea. Now what is a good name for a oil additive product? Oil-Up...Super Lube...Silky On. Hmmmm.... Anybody want to try my new oil additive. I sell real cheap cos u guys from MCF. I give u 20% off for a MO. ↡ Advertisement
