which credit card offers the best benefit for topping up petrol??

the obvious choice is HSBC for caltex. you apparently get 5% more than whatever the rest are getting and you get "thanks" points somemore. and caltex people are really polite and their stores are well stocked...sigh...i dont have a hsbc card though....tempted a lot to apply for one....using DBS with SPC card to get a very good discount too !

I usually pump Esso. Total discount is only 22% currently. However I feel that Caltex stations are good.

SPC = Site (13%) + SAFRA (8%, valid for Feb 07) + POSB (3.16%)

= 24.16%

 

But guess Caltex + HSBC is better, as it comes with 24% + Thanks Points.
