I am interested to get a stream or a wish too. But can make up my mind yet.So what's the difference btw 1.8X and RSX?

There's more talk on stream than wish after going thru these 9pages. Can anyone really give a true review on these 2 cars?

I was told that wish can get average 13to 14km/l. I read here stream can only get max 11km/l. That's quite a bit of difference.

pls comment.

Its ok lah, jus need to find reputable one...

Jus remember this

When COE on the rise (expected rise trend), get confirmed COE (ON-THE-ROAD in 1 mth)

When COE going down (expected down trend), dun get confirmed COE (but max 2mths delivery).

Either cases, for PI avoid HIGH deposit (3k reasonable).

Cheers!

Thanks but prefer to wait.

But, PI can get car fast, otherwise the 1.8x at $72.8K is too close to KM's $76K. I heard KM can get discount from SE easily and they do offer better trade in value for car.

depends on what you are looking at.

I can get you an equally good deal from KM too.

As for trade-in value, its subjective.Depends also. Not neccessarily PI is lower than KM or vice versa.

Hi, this is just my personal experience and I'm not a car salesman.

I'm a rather picky driver when it comes to the "feel" of a car - in terms of look, build, equipment, handling & engine performance. I owned 2 Toyota Corolla before switching over to the Honda Stream. Though both models are from different category but I believe each has inherited the characters and philosophy of their makers.

Toyota is no nonsense, practical and value for money. While Honda is more incline towards performance, stylish design and quality finishing. Just look at the steering wheel and you will know what I mean. They are targeting different types of driver.

I have been driving the 2004 Stream 1.7 for the last 3 years and never had any problem at all. It is very reliable and fun to drive. I'm very impressed with Honda's design and quality that I've ordered the new Stream 1.8 RSZ to upgrade to the i-VTEC engine. Really can't wait for the car to be delivered. [rolleyes]

Get a stream pa if you like sporty type. Though Wish seems to be a bit bigger and better FC than the Stream.

Quoted from one of the bro, the different bet 1.8X and RSZ are:

1. HID

2. Rear Disc Brakes

3. Centre arm rest

3. Black interior

4. Paddle shifter

5. 17" Japan rims

6. Side skirting

7. Sport tune suspension

8. Fog lamp

9. RSZ sticker front,back,steering wheel.

10.Leather wrap steering.

11.Chrome exhaust tail

12.Chrome door handle

13.Front honeycome grill

14.Rear sway bar

The overall package will need to depend on individual PI. Find a reliable one so you will have less headaches.
