Jacf Neutral Newbie March 1, 2007 Share March 1, 2007 put $$$ aside, i've tried all diff petrol companies. Somehow, i still find Shell, Caltex & Mobil's petrol to be better than SPC. When i pumped SPC, my car seems to consume more to move & not so powerful. But using Shell of the same grade, my car is more ready to move off & better Fc. Well, it's my own feel. But ask me this qn anytime & i'll say Go for Shell , forget abt SPC. but since Shell, Caltex & mobil almost the same, then this is where all the rewards, discounts & gifts comes in to help to decide which company to patronise. Toyo 1st Gear March 1, 2007 Share March 1, 2007 U cant use SPC&U card with SAFRA card. got to choose one. the discount will depends on the amount of petrol u pumped in the previous mth. for eg. if u pumped btw $50-$300 u get 6% on top of the site discount. max u can get is 8% for >$500. Apparently from what I was told SPC petrol evaporates faster thats why you feel that the petrol empty faster. So now I switch to Esso as well. As I have 2 near my place. Here I am referring to the same octane comparison as the prices are the same if I am notmistaken. As for me, I use Shell 98 octane and whenever I fill up my tank, I will add a certain engine tonic into the petrol tank which further raises the octane. Well, when one loves playing with cars like me, I always do research to further boost the performance of my cars. here we are talking about which brand give the best deal in terms of discount... and u started telling us how u love playing with car... its abit out of topic ehz...
