I don't intend to spruce up my car as yet. [laugh]

Sorry, here's a noob question: does a new Vios come with free mats or carpets or do we have to get them separately?

Mine came with carpet mats. But I'm thinking of getting another kind of mat (those like 3M mats) to replace, as the carpet mats gets dirty easily and not so easy to clean.

Wow, floor mat also do not come as standard item and need SE to throw in so that they can give lesser gadgets. That is very bad! thumbsdown.gif

But since it's a minor thing, i won't complain further. Anyway as like rest said, the cup holder is a bit useless...

True, some gadgets might be too cheap but it is still good to have those gadgets which exist in most luxury class cars.

Just like my car, it maybe cheap but I enjoy all the luxury gadgets which exist in most 2 litre cars like the Auto Headlight function, car is cheaper than most Japanese 1.5 litres cars but enjoying the spacious space and luxury gadgets in most 2 litres cars! Cool! thumbsup.gif

No, my FC is not high as I am getting 12-13km/litre for a 1300KG Car which is consider very good. If you get a good FC for a light car but you are also paying a price for it upfront and indirectly, those money you pay for goes either to the government or car dealer.

I can uses those money like $10K more for a Jap car with lower engine capacity compared to a cheaper Korea car to pay for my petrol on my Korean ride which can last me up to 3 years, it is more worth to do so. thumbsup.gif

Important fact is that any Japanese cars come into Singapore will have their horsepower and speed tune down while other makes do not have such restriction including continental or korean cars.

My boss who is also a Japanese prefers to drive Japanese cars in the USA/Europe/Japan as their engines are full specs compared to those in Singapore!

Sometimes I also rev to clear out carbon built-up in the engine, you need to maintain a slow and steady driving style when you just collect your car and driving for the running-in period as the ECU is learning your driving style while all your engine pistons and valves are new and not fully lubricated.

There are some Rio members also can get 14km/litre for his Manual Rio considering the Rio is heavier than Vios. thumbsup.gif
