Decided to put these expanded copper plugs to good use, they were used for about 11,500km before being replaced.

In short, FP60 is supposed to be a fuel system cleaner, lubricant and fuel stabilizer.

LC20 on the other hand is designed to reduce engine oil oxidation to prolong its lifespan, it also has mild cleaning capabilities.

Both products are designed to work in harmony with each other.

The plugs were soaked for 3 days prior to removal, below picture was taken on day 1.

Introduction to FP60

Source: http://www.lubecontrol.com/fuel.htm

FP60 increases combustion efficiency, lubricates fuel pumps and injectors, cleans the fuel system, and potentially increases mileage. It scavenges water and moisture from the fuel system as well so the resulting mix can be burned in the combustion chamber. Combustion chambers can be cleaned using FP60.

What will FP60 do for my car ?

FP60 is special blend of chemicals designed to clean your vehicle

Soaking with FP60 is one thing. I wonder whether the cleaning effect is also this good when it is being burnt in the combustion chamber together with fuel? [sweatdrop]

Got before use control. Got results after use. Where is negative control? Like dipping it into petrol? sly.gif

Well designed experiment but redo with more controls. laugh.gif

Gee I sound like a peer review paper. tongue.gif

Thanks for your test Bro :)

I've got a set of IK20 (use for close to 20K) which I soaked in LC to clean it up a while back. Had fitted it back to my car and still running good with it (additional 15K so far)

Cheers

imho, there may be a lot of other chemicals which can clean the spark plugs in question. so nothing spectacular.

but of course, u can't put those stuff into the engine oil/petrol tank [:)]

maybe just stick to intended use of the products. tho i know u intend to show it's cleaning properties [thumbsup]
