SENTOSA!! can tan and got underwaterworld

The underwater world can't compare the one in Osaka. Anyway, my impression on Sentosa is that it is a tourist spot and things are expensive there. Before, you do anything there, you have to 1st pay for entry. It should be free for residents.

singapore will never hit 7.5 million , cos the local migrating to other countries, the old ones died cos not enough money for medicial.

The younger one kill themself and others on the road..low birth rate...no money to start family..the FT will run back to their countries or other better countries once they earn enough SG $ to run aways from Singapore.

this island wont sink, but stink

Right on.... And a lot of people will jump at MRT trains instead of riding in the train....

Let's not take what you have now for granted... blessed with an efficient and passionate govt that works hard & is 100% free of corruption. And a Prime Minister who is still working and replying email at 1am in the morning (as reported in the press).

Let's also not take for granted that U have a roof under your head, an efficient world class public transport system with fares starting from only S$0.65.

U pay the lowest income tax in the world and can walk alone in the streets late at night and still feel safe.

Uniquely Singapore. The 1 & Only!

Of course can sleep well coz we pay high salary for most of our super scale our public servants... But do we need so many to govern a small place????

Even the US president also did not earn so much.

1. Sian, another boring Sunday and is still wondering where to bring the kids out? No, not another places of interest, like Zoo or bird park. Not another shopping centres with crowd!

2. Thought of going to some quiet places, some makan with somethings to keep kids occuppied.

3. Weekend is more eventful at north but in SG, such a boring country.

Any good suggestions to kill time? Thank you very much.

Regards,

Dubai is superexpensive compared to Singapore (except when it comes to eating middle eastern food - that is cheap) especially the hotels.

And yet people keep flocking there and the growth there is amazing. I don't think the Govt is going to try to keep costs low in Singapore. We can't compete on costs any more. We have to compete on quality...

Unfortunately, for us living here ..... just look at where housing rentals, COEs are going now.

Housing may be but COE is not. Singapore is small so COE has to be reasonably high to deter car ownership.

WITH THE UPCOMING IR resort, things will be getting more expensive in Senotsa.

Actually Singapore is not a bad place to live if you are rich.
