But i would not know the outcome between you and him. So i can't comment who is right and wrong.

To sum up the moral of this thread.

 

I guess you were not very happy because:

 

1. The thomas person mentioned that the product is made from US (of which I heard it too), but in actual fact, it is made from China. The key word is, made in US. If the person have BEEN honest in the first place, none of this would have happen.

 

2. Now, this guy goes all over the place to say that the china product is sold by maddriver. I do not think this is fair at all.

I know that it is made in china but US technology ( i still searching for the patents, yet to establish).

But that day the demo, he did mentioned about the US technology but the words made in china were a bit soft. So i think many bros here did not hear it. AS there is many negative comments here, i don't think can calm everyone here.

 

I also tell him that "from US", a lot of people will mistaken that it is made in US as well, so that is why, the other forums that he posted, caused a lot of confusion to it.

 

But try not to dismantle it and try to call him for the replacement if possible. If need be, i will claim the warranty ( if the product really spoilt) on your behalf, if you want.

 

Just to add, i had washed my car with this product about 4 time without on the engine and i on the product about 3 - 4 hrs ( as i wash my car very slowly), so far ok . But after all depend on the car battery condition.

 

I seriously doubt that I need any hearing aid.

I only heard him said that the product was made from US.

 

Hmmm.. do I really need to go and test my ears again.

But to add, one of the bros who post the link that was sold by china company is not exactly the same. How can the pricing is the fixed USD 26? I saw that link, i thought i also being conned too. But after reading the fine prints and i get the picture. I did research before, the cost price to DIY is about 50-60. that is without the nice casing.

So that is why the flamers never get their facts right and quickly shoot in the wrongly hole.

Hmm... since you heard that, i got nothing to say or rather most of the bros who were there also heard made in US. About the made in US think can stop from here. It had been clarify that made in china with US technology. If not will be another flaming war.

It is not defensive, i'll try to get the facts right. If not, flaming wars start, very difficult to stop it. And i also don't know what happened to the previous thread that ended in the flaming wars.

I think the key issue here is "Made in US/China" tag, and not the pricing.

 

Please get that right.

 

A SE who sell cars should have the integrity to inform customers where the car is manufactured. To some customers, this fact matters and might affect their decision to get the car. I was at the MDDS session, and I hear the same thing as what Maddriver and Gadgeter heard. It's not possible that the 3 pairs of ears got problem.

 

If I go around selling Vios and claiming that it is made in Japan, soon my reputation will be tarnished.

From what i see, is both. That is why, thomas to reinfo everyone through the VOGS that it is made in china. I also try to ask him to post here too ASAP to get it once for all to be clarify (hopefully this thread don't get closed by then). It just sad to see that i did not go in time to see the previous threads that ended in flaming wars.

 

And i posted the link to the product that sell at USD26. So that i can clarify the issue.
