How dangerous is it to have different tyres on the L and R side of the car?

I have also seen directional tyres fixed backwards!!!

U can mix different types of tyres but u sud have the SAME type on same axle.

Different tyres on the same axle will compromise the handling & u r in for some hairy corners & emergency braking times.

But still best is the have the same type of tyres on all four corners. It gives u predictable handling in dry & wet.

Neutral Newbie

my guess is that you wil have problem getting water out whwn it rain. Eg. goodyear F1 tyre where the threading is V in shape, thus on correct direction water flash OUT, but wrong direction water flash IN [shocked]

Vice Vesa, other thread tyre that flash water out when rain will flash water towards centre of your car [crazy] scary

just my guess

if it's a simple drive from pt A to B, it's not much of a danger except that they need longer braking distance.. [sweatdrop]

but for those that are in for some speed and bend, then it's a different story..

Danger don't appear from nowhere.. usually people are the cause and they themselves subject the car and passenger to the dangerous situation.
