Mentally unstable, how to maximize claims?

Tell him to pay for your repairs at Kah Motor then. Otherwise claim him on his insurance, he has to pay an excess to his company. The bill of repairing it at Kah will probably mean that it is cheaper for him to let you claim his insurance, it looks like it will cost a few thousand.

Blue cab = NTUC, I wonder if Auntie Lucy Insurance covers these blue taxis as well?

Whiplash Injury derives from the etiopathogenic description of the sudden sharp whipping movement of the head and neck, produced at the moment of a traffic accident, particularly subsequent to collisions from the rear, head-on or side collisions.

In the case of a head-on collision, a forward displacement of the body is produced as a result of the inertia (weight of the body x speed), provoking tension upon the safety belt together with a neck hyperflexion followed by an hyperextension of it, thus producing "the whiplash".

In the case of a collision from the rear, the mechanism is inverted, first hyperextension followed by hyperflexion of the neck.

Where did the accident happen? My dad was telling me about the near accident this afternoon, where a cab crashed into the car in front, on the expressway. Luckily he managed to brake hard and avoid the taxi, and the car behind also managed to brake in time, otherwise he would have his insurance claimed.

Anyway, in your case it's quite straightforward, no need to give face, just claim whatever you need from his insurance. Go see a doctor if you don't feel well.

Yup. It's there alright. My dad was right behind the taxi, and he was complaining about the lousy Latio brakes which almost didn't stop in time. [sweatdrop] Close shave.

Don't worry too much about your damage though, from the pictures you posted it only looks like a damaged bumper, didn't damage the car frame. Just get yourself checked for whiplash and claim whatever is necessary.
