AD07 + Eagle F1

was considering,

 

since ad07 is good for dry and f1 for wet.

 

What would the outcome be if front is AD07 and rear is Eagle F1?

 

Currently on AD07 and thinking of changing the rear to F1.

since its FWD. no much diff if you slip on wet weather rubbers for the rear. it does'nt improve wet weather handling cuz your front is still on dry performance tyres. but may help a bit on high speed stability due to your long wheelbase and heavy rear as it cuts the wet road surface better.

 

might as well stick to AD07s all round and still can rotate. wet for AD07 not that bad. i'm on those rubbers as well.

 

but i'll recommend RE-01R, same dry performance as AD07 but better in the wet. that'll be my next set of tyres.

becuz the previous owner change 2 at a time only. How much is a RE-01R? 205-50-R16

i see... well, then finish off those AD07s, still can rotate mah

 

not very sure about RE-01R prices yet. should be slightly more ex or same with AD07s since they're in the same performance range.

Did consider it. but maybe i am shallow but for a korean brand, i guess i was expecting a price that is cheaper than the f1 and not +/- $10 the same price.

 

For a similar price, i would prefer to get something i used before.

Sorry but why did you say Eagle F1 is good for wet?? I am on Eagle F1(Thai made) dun really work well during the wet leh, dry got no doubts!!!!

It is known as a good wet tyre.. I suggest you try to whack harder during wet weather and enjoy!

if you look at brand..i must say lots of bro feels the same...but once you got over it and go behind the steering, you immediately knows the money well spend.

but is the pricing based on the quality of the tires or the pricing of top-end brands.

 

if it is based on quality, i will expect it to be cheaper but if based on other brands then, i dun see why i should pay for more when tyres like eagle do adverts.

 

and to be truthful, i just dun feel right paying the same price for a korea compared to a german. Just like if 2 cars are offering almost the same thing at the same price... would you buy jap or conti?

If you want a more affordable tyre, go with F1. They do last longer. AD07 is an overkill if you do just normal driving and cornering.

 

The F1 will be more than enough for you!
