Super rare car spotted

Need to confirm. I was craning my neck in the taxi to get more details... Was at Novena square/revenue house junction around 630 and the car sped off towards Orchard thru Scotts Road.

 

Left hand drive.

 

Volkswagen.

 

Passat.

 

Coupe.

 

Did not managed to catch the plate leh, but with the ang moh aunty drive and left hand drive, sure CD plate.

There's no such thing as a Passat coupe. What you saw was the VW Eos.

Thanks! I did not know. All I saw from the side was it was clearly a VW and a two door with LHD. This makes it even more rarer still.

I just wonder why we extend such a privilage. A car is a car. For embassy, luxury car can buy in any country if money is not a issue. Why go and import one and maintanence going to be a bitch too?
