If you like a Twist to your brownies! Try Baker's Story @ Sin Ming Plaza(Not too sure about the building name though, sorry. But it's beside Iceskimo Ice Cream)

They sell heaps and heaps of Brownies with different flavours, but the killer would be the cheesebrownies.. Absolutely to die for! [dizzy]

You can try Pan Pac's deli or Checker at Hilton (famous for cheesecake but their brownies are good as well)...

Not sure if the stall at Amoy got brownies but they got good muffins..

Eh... another place is mamalaine at Palais Renaissance.

Hope it help a bit..

Almost all the brownies in SG are too cake like to be called brownies. Brownies are failed cakes. That's right, the originator tried to make a cake but failed because she got the proportions wrong and hence the brownie was born.

For an original brownie, it is best to make it yourself. The mixture is nothing but butter, flour, sugar and chocolate. Nothing more.

This is my most powerful version. Guaranteed to kill you.

2 Sticks unsalted butter (240g butter)

4 Squares (1 oz. each) Unsweetened baking chocolate I use Bakers'
