Ccjna Clutched September 9, 2007 Share September 9, 2007 Do u mean where i've changed my HK rate currency??? Hmm...In fact, i've already changed abt more den 2 or 3 weeks ago liao...cant remembered lah...That was a Sunday whereby we went to People Park's Complex for lunch - Frog leg porridge next to the mc donald. The rate that we've changed was HK $5.15 per S$100. Well, i didnt changed much as i've been to HK for a few times b4. So this time round, i dun intend to change alot lor. These few days, the rate currency dropped until very jialat. Now actually intend to change some more but den....cannot make it lah... How abt u? Btw, are u gtg to Macau as well? Do u knw abt the ferry ticket price from HK to Macau? I've heard from one of my fren said that the 2 ways tickets from HK to Macau was abt S$120 like that. i find that it is very expensive. But somehow on the other hand, i've read abt other forum that gtg to HK from Macau 2 ways tickets costs abt S$60+ like that. Do u hv any idea? i was thking of gtg Macau leh. Or anybody can advise? I aso wanna to find out which ferry port to take ferry to Macau from HK & to take the shortest & fastest way to reach there. Many thks... ↡ Advertisement
Typhoonz 4th Gear September 11, 2007 Author Share September 11, 2007 Huh? Sian liao... My wife wants to try the money changer at Bedok Central... We changed our Thai Baht the last time round so will monitor their rates... Thought about People's Park money changers but quite a hassle to go all the way down... I'll be changing about SGD$1,200 (est HKD$6,000) in total... Budgeting about HKD$1000 a day in expenses... Probably we won't spend that much per day but I told my wife that if there's any left for the day, we'll roll over to the last day... We are planning to "raid" the Espirit (her fav) and Adidas (my fav) warehouses... I would also be spending a bit on Giordano shirts... Sorry man bro... I have no idea about Macau at all... The last time I was there was about 8 or 9 years old... The only thing I remembered was that I was sea sick throughout the journey... My mum had the baff bag every ready for me... I heard from my sis in law who just came back from HK last month that the round trip tickets are indeed somewhere near SGD$120... We were planning to commit a day to Macau but the seems like we have to shelve the plan... For the both of us it's just curiosity so we can do away with that... Erayvne Neutral Newbie September 11, 2007 Share September 11, 2007 i think the wide variety and exotic-ness of the special flavoured donuts that deviates from the standard sugar coated ones makes them popular.. some say its a only a fad.. maybe i guess. but pp are still queuing up at both suntec and raffles city for donut factory! Typhoonz 4th Gear September 13, 2007 Author Share September 13, 2007 I guess there's not much to see at Macau unless you are going there to pua at their casinos... I think you better change more man... Seems like not enuff... If you are buying shirts and other stuff, better "arm" yourself with more cash... Signing card there you will subjected to the screwed up bank exchange rates... ↡ Advertisement
