Ever had this before. Car's steering will vibrate at speeds above 100km/hr after changing to a new set of tyres.

Sent it back tot he tyre shop for balancing again and the problem is solved [thumbsup] .

High speed balancing also available at Stamford Tyres.

Like another brother said, could be defective rims.

That happened to my family's car running on 16" original factory fitted rims with Continental sports contact.

Last month just changed it to Bridgestone GR-80 and got this problem. So sent it back to rebalance and the problem is solved.

sorry to hijack your thread, anyone know how much for wheel alignment? My car going left side recently.

Perhaps you can consider Teo Hin which recommended by Chromas. I tried once on My FL Sunny. Nice guy. Call to check price & settings for your car model.

normally is the rim that is the problem. but sometimes is both the fixture.

it happen to me once. did a balance then when mounted doing high speed balancing it is never accurate do 3 times still different location need extra weight. later the boss told the son to re mount again then do. viola everything went smoothly.

vibration normally happen above 100km/h that why doing high speed is more likely to solve the problem.
