I get it at low rpm without 98 ron....with caltex platinium...i get it ard 3rd gear and 4th gear...5th gear minimum...

Actually I know how it goes...saw a video about it.

However, right now I'm more interested in knowing the source of my problem wif my ride...

 

Since the last engine to this new one, I have this common problem...sometimes with air-con on, my idling goes to 600 plus making the car vibrate very very jia lat....then slowly it will climb back to 750-850....then after awhile...it go down 600 plus again...repeating...

 

Sometimes....when travelling...then coming to red light...i clutch in and the rpm drop relatively fast and straight to 600 plus...sometime...with the clutch still in, it die engine....*faint...pple will think i'm new-bie...haha

 

Anyway, since the last engine the same problem. Hence I think not about the engine...the only thing i din change is trottle body...

Could it be the problem?

 

i believe it could be your ignition problem aka misfire.

maybe wrong type of spark plug or plug cable got problem.

i think the cheapest and easiest way is to 1st go try and wash your trottle body see whether it improve anot

wash...wads the issue here...u mean there might be some dirt on ard the entrance of the trottle body that keep the valves from open big enough to allow air in?

 

but will try this sunday...

sunday is my washing car day...keke...but depend on if it rains...

This Apexi RSM can adjust the ignition timing?

I have VAFC2 wif me...could it be the tuning of it causing the problem...?

ya i ever encounter before up-down idling but ok after wash trottle body

 

as for vafc2 who tune for u? mine tune by hv ah hua and quite satisfied with it . maybe u might want to try

Huh...go in JB arh....HV Ah Hua is in jb rite...not convinient to tell who tune for me lei...dun wanna spoil his workshop...anyway is in Blk 53 Ubi...keke..quite a clear hint liao...

I take out the sticker behind my petrol needle liao becoz i tell myself I will never go in wif my car ...period....

Anyway dun think my window will pass even...

 

I'll try take out the trottle body this sunday...but i have to go borrow some tools...

Apexi RSM can remove speed cut.

not for ignition timing.

if you have VAFC 2,you can get the Ignition Timing Controller from Apexi to adjust the ignition.

oh yah...forgot i was having the conversation of speed limiter wif u...

okok...Apexi RSM...to remover speed limiter....so...we can speed beyond 180km/h? cool..

not easy to do a good vtec turbo

but they done quite alot of sgp vtec turbo

But I saw how they do it lei...its quite easy...take out air ram the unscrew some screws....putting it back is another thing...Now mi trying to do things DIY...so can learn more..

 

I even went to my regular workshop to help out for few days. haha...i interested in learning for my next ride..
