I will join this one.

 

But not keen to worship some hot air inside a rubber tube. At least have a statue lar, like that temple in Japan. Got festival somemore. [thumbsup]

Well after personally attend some form of prayer session they organise, i firmly believe that the word cult suit them most. [sweatdrop][sweatdrop][sweatdrop] scare the sh8t out of me

 

have u heard of the nickname given to the megachurch located in the West? The one with the revolving titanium cross?

I have christian friends who also buay tahan that Church. Their way is not widely accepted even among same species. Nothing religious but the way they do their stuff.

Hmmm I guess u dont have the experience. Some churches do not allow u to leave its fold. In fact sometimes they will insist the members only have friends within the church so if you wish to leave the church u will lose all ur friends. Your "friends" will then be instructed to ostracise you. Is that free will?

 

Agree with you. Some of these churches prey (yes, prey) on young and impressionable teens who are lonely, have low self-esteem, few friends, and lack confidence. Suddenly, they find themselves in the midst of a group of people and are told that they are loved and that they "belong" etc. It may not be brainwashing but it is a very powerful influence.
