I still can remember 5yr ago I chosen between Mit Lancer and Corolla(JDM).

They are about at the same price. What the Old Lancer price now 55k?

Anyway, if you like it just go ahead. Here just sharing my view.

I'm driving an altis now. Its a reliable car, reasonable pickup and fuel consumption. I agree with the creaking and juddering sounds, brought it back to BM 3 times already they always cannot fix.

If there's a negative to it, it'll be servicing at BM. 20k servicing, sent at 8.30am, when i went to collect at 1pm still not ready. Made me stone there for 2 hours more, with a broken coffee machine. Read newpaper back to front twice. Come back still had the juddering sound. But overall the car is ok i guess.

hi bro..if your car still under warranty, will have to go back BM to do servicing like engine oil at $200++ and wait for a whole day issit?

What does BM warranty consists of ??

Thks in advance!

Altis In malaysia... but pix like from USA [dizzy][dizzy][dizzy]

hmm.. this could be the model singapore is getting. it looks rather different from the AXIO..but then again..i read somewhere and they were saying the Toyota Corolla (AXIO) in China will be very similar to the one we are getting here? in terms of looks, that is. But of coz, Made in Thailand.

Any comments?

This one is launched earliest in China last year when Axio was launched.

The body frame like wheel base, width etc is basically the same like the G9, Altis.

Engine spec (Axio & China 1.6) looks similar to the G9 / Altis as well.

So I consider complete face lift just like the 92 Corolla changed to 95 model. -- That time also look complete changed but body frame and engine remain similar.

Of course hopefully we get more perks like both directions steering adjustment, smart key (keyless eng start) etc.

Still, is new look, model. I will go for Axio.

Oh just for one more important point, the rear seat floor is flat.!

[nod] mine is ok so far. quite happy with it's reasonable good FC and good smooth (better than so CVT trans that I drove b4)pick up with moderate price tag. Spec is reasonably good. Only "fault" is it is made in thailand. [laugh][laugh]

[:(] luckily, mine do not have. should go for express service in the afternoon. one hour finish so more got free glooming. However, not for repair work. West coast one less people.
