Thats what I feel too.

 

I used to patron those bike shops that sell these single tone decals. I used it to cover the fenders, mudguard of my scrambler. A pair of scissor and a hair blower was my only tool.

 

I think only they have a bigger piece. its also very hard to do it nicely as like any decals, air bubbles will be trapped beneath if improperly installed.

 

For those who wants a carbon fibre look on their bonnet, this is one alternative. I remember seeing this done in American version of Taxi on the BMW.

LTA don't care one if not taxi can't put their advertisement liao.

 

But i think it should be cheaper to make this and put on car than respray.

If i'm not wrong they cut to size than heat the surface to bond to the car.

Some more when respray sometime they don't do a good job.
