Thanks bro, was also thinking of going there to do it but drop by at AMK Soh Tyres for a quote, on the spot quoted $480 and completion within 2 - 3 hours hence decided to go for it as cannot tahan without air con anymore. The previous workshop quoted at least $500 - $600 plus 1 whole day in the workshop.

replaced the cooling coil and expansion valve within 3 hours, workmanship not so good as the dashboard a little bit slanted after installing back.

I changed my whole aircon system except condenser coil at Vision(Rangoon Rd) for my COE car 4yrs ago for abt S$600+. Basically I changed evaporator, expansion valve, filter drier, new pipes and compressor. All items were brand new.

So now I know the boss(Jack) very well. Done most of my accessories there.

But would recommend Markcool for aircon instead as they are the experts. Vision is go by trial n error so I ended up changing a lot of stuff. [:p]

ho bro, can check where u check ur air con coil? mine is leaking badly (after top up gas less than 1 month will not be cold anymore) and need to be replaced. was quoted by 1 shop in AMK for 500 - 600 as they say need to change the coil, plus 2 more can't remember wat and labour charge is high cos need to tear out the whole dashboard.

got cheaper aircon workshop to recommend? Thanks.

it's ok bro, cannot tahan without car air-con in singapore, sunshine too hot, raining too stuffy, so must fast fast get it done... remember soh tyres uncle soh told me he also do air-con so went there and got it done, price quoted cheaper but then worksmanship especially on the dashboard installing back part not so good. other than that should be ok, i hope.
