Hi all,

Can some expert(s) list down the GENUINE mods (those that REALLY increase performance) we need to do before putting in a piggyback ECU and tuning please?

So far, this is what I have been told works:

(1) Change to a good performance exhaust system

(2) Change to a lightened flywheel & clutch system

(3) Change to a lightened crank pulley

Anything else to add to the list?

I was told that the following things that people commonly do, does nothing substantial for performance:

(A) Cold air intake

(B) Air charger

© Grounding

Anything else to add to this list?

Thanks! [thumbsup]

If you're doing re-tuning, might as well get those open pod with CAI, which has a larger than stock diameter inlet tube.

Install manifold spacers/insulators for cooler air intake.

Install bigger fuel pump / fuel pressure regulator.

Intake---Close pod/open pod. Increase in piping diameter.Throttle Body also...

Header---4-1/4-2-1 (depending on ur requirement)

Exhaust---You know what's this and what to do with it [lipsrsealed]

The most basics but the most hard to find complement with each other.

Got to play around with individual combination.

There will be a difference! But performance would be naturally be further enhanced with other mods - most significant I believe with a conversion to an open-pod air intake system.
