Fiat Bravo T-Jet - 2500km later - happy and no regrets!

Switched from my Mk-2 Punto into a Bravo T-Jet. Was no sure at first, given so many choices in the price range.

Tried the new Mitsu Lancer EX - didnt't make the cut. IMHO, hugely disappointing. The Civic was the next choice but it feels boring, even compared to my ex 1.3 Punto! The Civic interior is top notch though. Then called my Fiat salesman and he invited me to try the new Bravo. The NA Bravo was nothing to shout about but smooth and had the "Italian Sound"! [laugh] Then he let me try the Bravo Turbo aka T-Jet. I was hooked man. Pure shiokness. Booked a black one on the spot(without my wife's knowledge) [knife] .

Now 2500km I have no regrets at all. Next need do some mods and change from 16" to 17". The Original rim damn difficult to clean.

Any bros here with same car. Need to share idea how to mod.

LOL [laugh]

She screamed at first because the Bravo is a manual and she has to take off her heels each time to drive (my old punto was a automatic) and also she was actualy want me to get a Honda Stream as her brother has one but me driving an MPV?? So i get to drive it most of the time now. [:)]

VW Golf GT 1.4 is like 105k when i went to see - over my budget - $20000 more than my Bravo - 20bhp more = $1000 per bhp [hur] But I like the DSG gear. Considered the 147 Selespeed but also $10000 more costly than my Bravo Tjet and old model oredi.

Just collected my bravo t jet yesterday. Just 24km so I can't really comment. Bought because the SE was really good. A real professional. Already got admiring looks from my neighbours.

I would definitely like to join Fiat owners for any get together. This is my 2nd Fiat - the other one being a Fiat Grande Punto. Thinking of buying a 3rd one when the Fiat 500 comes to Singapore!

Neutral Newbie

I just went to test drive the Bravo 1.4 TC aka T-jet. [thumbsup][inlove]

The front treatment like the maserati shark nose [thumbsup] For a 1.4l, 6 speed and turbo charged wah, not bad, not bad at all. Feels solid and seating is ergonomic, being a small car, everything is within reach (even your passenger's left thigh. Hahaha!). Good lowend and has the kick with little lag. Cornering is flat and nice. Very italian I think really got character. And it doesn't look girlie (unlike some other errr..hatchbacks [sly] )

I was really pleasantly surprised. May consider if can get pass the CO. Sure make a lot of noise if know that it's a manual [:p] Definitely beats any of those vios, altis, fit, stream,...in my most humble opinion of course [scholar]

Please dun flame me hor, no offence to all the above nippon fighter pilots [:)]
