Ok let's change the subject and focus on how to operate the gear shift in the proper manner.

The rubber material on the knob is very very prone to scratches..from rings, watches, bracelets...so tread carefully.

Echelon's gear knob has been cubic printed. Hence it will be less prone to scratches.

Anyways the cubic printing add on came with the car, I selected the color and design, there was quite a few to choose from, paino black (very nice), wood grain, etc.
