Will only be used in Thailand, I didnt realize until after I signed up that this forum seems to be predominently related to Singapore. At least Singapore isn't too far from Thailand so maybe some people still care :)

unsure.gif bro don't be so harsh ley. pple post in mcf for help not asking to be suan.

u think getting a 2nd hand car in Thailand is same as in S'pore. here hard to detect whether u r getting a lemon or not even for a new car.

i've seen car that wld be a write-off under S'pore context but here, you will be amazed on how they can restored it to pristine condition.

Not trying to suan la.. but some of the fault seems quite obvious from wat he said.

Anyway... there's still hope for your car.. but it wun be cheap.. I recommend u to do up your car instead. Change all the problem parts with performance parts(eg. apexi, tomei, hks etc)... but the chassis could be a problem...

Suddenly I realise...

Ur car could be a stripped out evo.. It could be a highly tuned evo but owner decided to change car so put everything back into the car, removed the expensive parts to sell.

I looked at it carefully all around and I didnt care about some scratches on the rim and an unnoticable tiny dent in a door, it drove great and I opened the hood when it ran and did not hear any unusual noise, I also didn't hear any strange noise during the test drive. The aircon was cool.

I looked under the car and did not find a trace of oil on the floor where it was standing, I had no way to look under the car properly or knowledge to notice any of the problems the testing station found, they have a proper facility and equipment to check everything, but I could only take the car there after I bought it.

I really didnt expect it to have so many problems because at first sight it looked to be in a really good condition and well cared for.

It looked very different to a used car I would see in say Germany or Australia where there would be rust and dirt everywhere and I would expect problems, but this looked extremely clean overall.
