thanks for understanding this point. [thumbsup]

whether it's a small or big thing, its always subjective and relative. No one can actually judge if it's a big or small issue.

to me, windshield breaking from a falling tree branch or someone bang me from behind during peak hour jams is a small thing to me. just claim insurance, get on with life.

But car damaged from someone's purpose actions is a different matter altogether. [;)]

tailgate and bang into my car while its clear traffic? or

due to traffic jam, you tailgate then end up banging my car?

(bend my car mirror when you can actually walk the other way or

bend my car mirror when i park like an idiot)

There is a distinct difference - Thats the deciding factor.

I do not discriminate between small or big damages, whats important to me is the reason why the damage is done. Is it an accident? Or is it just because due to the person willfulness ?

well said! i agree 100%. Then will you assume that it is always someone's willfulness when your mirror is being folded?

i sort of agree with you that, if can open door and get out, most of the time should be able to pass without folding the mirror. so far never encountered a case where i have to fold 2 mirrors to get out. [sweatdrop]

There has been a time when I had to fold both mine and the other owner's mirror to pass through simply because to squeeze between two mirrors could accidently damage one of them because the body may either push the mirror in the 'other' direction or 'scratch' the paintwork from a belt buckle or similar.

I thoughtfully folded both mirrors just in case! [sweatdrop] .... and yes, I did put them back in position (if you were wondering!)

I tend to disagree that because you can get out of your own car door, doesn't necessarily mean you can squeeze between 2 car's door mirrors. (Think about it carefully!)

Well, that brings us to another point. Many architects design things with too narrow an allowance, not just local, but everywhere else with either size or cost constrains [:(]

I was using this analogy to mean if it originally was ok, then can't blame others for the inconvenience, like the louya mirrors

Hmmm....can ah? I go and try again. [:p]

I remember trying before and only could push from the front. Coz if push from the mirror side, err...if you can try to visualise, the 'aerodynamic part' of the mirror prevents it from being pushed from back to front, so it can only spring from the front to the back.

That's what I recall, but I will go and try again and see. *LOL*

Yeah the one side that got struck by the trolley, although the mirror is still intact, but I think it feels shakier than the other side.

So if anyone here has been 'playing' with Ganadors like those ppl who left prints on my mirror glass, pls don't play rubber band with them hor. Although won't drop off or break, but damage is being done. [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

Hi there,

I will always fold others windows if they never park their car properly. Or they have forgotten what they have gone thru the training.

Because I will always make sure my car is park properly so that others will not have any problem when they want to park beside me [pirate]
