Hulo, been reading this forum for great trips/tips for awhile.

Its the year end now and my wife and I would like to go away for a short trip to relax.

Shopping is not required. Jus sightseeing will do.

As we have a 3mth old bb, my parents will be taking care of her for the away period. So we'll be nice n not sabo them too long, 3D2N max.

We've been to Penang 3X, Taiping, Cameron Highlands, KL, Malacca.

Would appreciate it if anyone could suggest a nice place to relax!

Thank you all in advance!

How about Berjaya Hills or Avillion Water Chalet for a romantic time? The tricky part is the reservation, as most of the popular dates would have been fully booked.

looking for places to relax! how about those remote island like tioman. [sunny]

Park at Mersing and take ferry to Tioman Island. There are secured parking spaces at a very cheap rate (around RM5/nights) so you don't have to think about your vehicle safety!

Can advise where in Mersing is the secured parking at RM$5???

I need to plan how to get to Tioman while leaving my car on the mainland w/o worrying about whther its still there when I get back a couple of days later.....

Thanks

Nothing much to do at Bukit Tinggi, route to there after my genting trip. Only the colmar tropicale resort that gives the european feel, apart from that. The rabbit farm look super run down , v.different from the brochures.

hi any feedback for this place thought of going next month

www.afamosa.com

I just came back from the A'Famosa Wet World in Malacca. I must say that the place needs a MAJOR facelift. A very big disappointment. For the entrance fee of RM$25/adult and RM$20/child, I expected more. Instead, my family and I were greeted by a sorry sight. The rides are those that you can find at Jurong East Swimming Complex, only dirtier. Many of the rides are under repair. The only working ones were the Lazy River, The Wave Pool and a few float rides. The children's playground...I will not even try to describe it. Plus, the prices of the food were also ridiculous. [hur]

To all those seeking fun in wet worlds, either you go to Sunway Lagoon in Selangor/Kuala Lumpur or stay here at home. You'll find cleaner pools and cheaper food. I also think the drive to A'Famosa is not worth what you'll be getting (toll charges, parking charges and all..). [thumbsdown] I think even the tourists (non-Malaysians) felt they were shortchanged, from their face expressions. We felt like being in a dying place of attraction.

I thought of visiting the other attractions at the place, but after the wet world experience............
