Orang Asli seafood - the place is not cheap. Especially if you are Singaporean....

If u want good seafood/ cheap there is one near Perling, Bandar Baru Uda. The trick is dont go where there is a lot of Singaporean, like Pantai Lido, Singgah Selalu, Lido beach....

Ask the local..... they will tell you where got good place to eat n cheap.

Once the place become popular with Singaporean, the price also surge like crazy....

I gave an example Singgah Selalu - there is more than 2 restaurant - one near the Lido beach, there is another Singgah Selalu at Kip Mart Tampoi, the price is different for both. Dont believe go there n try.

If u like satay, u can go to Pandan - at nite u can see hundred of Singaporean cars there - red plate. But I prefer to eat satay at Bandar Baru Uda. The satay stall is near Habib Restaurant (which serve on of the best prata in JB around, but there is many Habib restaurant in JB, got 2 in Perling.... )

The satay is the best, better than in Singapore. Most of those who eat there are the Johorean, not Singaporean.

fyi, my mother in law stay in Padi Ria, Bandar Baru Uda, 3 of my aunty stay in Perling, that why know so much abt JB. Like i said the trick is dont go where Singaporean go, most probably u kena ripped off...
