Market makers love part timer w small acct...coz Bao Jiat!!.

Want to trade, start w at least 50k n trade std lot......of coz assuming u alreadi developed a good system n has a strong discipline n mm in place.

some serious brokers, will not let u open acct w less than 50k USD. Coz when u trade w them, they charge u commission, they simply pass ur order to match (so not bucket shop style)...but need at least 100k contract...means 1 pip usually is USD$10.

Ya...u also need tonnes of patience...sometimes u juz wait...like a sniper waiting for the prey (price) to come to u....once u r in, always look for factors tat say ur trade cld be wrong (NVR look for reasons to justify ur trade is rite)...if u can't find any...u r safe!

cheers,

I believe it is safer to trade with ECN Brokers than market-makers

In case money not enough, look for logical platform, not those where you are hoping to trade with the platform (not regulated by the market-makers)

Never greedy enough to attempt more than the maximum contract that can be handled (sometimes only a million is the maximum)

Do not be a time-keeper trader (may not be rewarding for the overtime)

Haha I'm not..

I'm at the crossroad...

to get 100grand and start playing

or

get my butt off to work and get caught up in rat race

Can share with us if you found any ECN Brokers around here with that starting capital?

If trading against market-makers, do be alert on the leverage applicable, maximum trade size applicable, besides those you usually found on books

to me, retail traders is like 95% there for the taking (in institutional's perspective)

retail traders, who begin by reading book etc, will have no proper knowledge of what they are in for

I believe to make it worst/more dangerous, the IB bring the newbies to the market-makers/sharks

I tend to go off-shore ones...less influenced by rulings
