Let me clarify,

the since late last week, EUR/USD drop and USD/JPY rise and drop.

What is your view for on EUR/USD & USD/JPY for next week? Which of this will be better to invest in??

Hi any forex trader here......

wanted to sign up a course for forex trading.....any advise [:)]

I don't believe in these training courses. Most of them out there are money spinners and scams.

You should use one platform for all instruments. Saxo is one of my favourites. Exposures to many asset classes. Pretty reasonable.

You should seek out retail traders who trade on their own account, and are not trainers/instructors by profession. Then offer them a fee to impart some skills and knowledge on software-use. Read up a lot on your own. Tech analysis is pretty crucial in FX, but I personally don't put a lot of faith in it. I'm an econs guy. Long story.

I have yet to go into forex. I've so far debbled in equity - though I'm moving out of this boring and tiring asset class - and into commod futures. But you've chosen an exciting asset class that, in a decade or so, may not be as profitable anymore. So enjoy FX trading while you can.

Good luck.

My thinking is long EUR/USD near the 1.36 level , and long USD/JPY and wait for BOJ to intervent again next week ..

Neutral Newbie

saxo, cmc, igm, city etc all are market makers. take a positions in them can also means you playing against these bookies.

in the 80/90s similar bucketshop operated in hitandrun manner, now they have pretty names and sexy platforms for retailers to 'play' or be 'played'.

there are indeed plenty of choices and instruments, but at the back, the signalling and algorithms are more or less same esignal.com data.

I believe if you are playing against them since they regulate the market for you to play. Ultimately, if you are noticed to make regularly, they simply freeze your screen (they control the main switch and you the mini-switches)

If you plan your trade, you would have a TP and SL in place. No amount of screen freeze can change that.

However, if you scalp, then it could really be a casino type trading.
