agree cool ad to show the changes from the old car to the new. Innovative and interesting , especially with the transformer movie earlier.

 

must admit the koreans are catching up. wonder if this version of the sonata is here already ?

I must agree that they made serious improvement to the facelift. admirable.

Esp the interior. I've been complaining how the current interior sucks BIG time and the quality and built is horrible when it first launched. Seldom car manufacturers will try to change the interior drastically. However I must take my hat off for those big changes in the interior. the last car that made some significant interior changes was Mazda 6 but not considered as drastic as Sonata.

 

That said, i still wun praise them for originality. When the car first launched, it was so obvious that they copied and get the ideas for the dashboard from previous gen Camry. Now, it is also quite obvious that they are trying to play catch up with the new Camry.

Actually, the engine will also be replaced by a totally new engine, power of 163hp, this will be one of the highest power for NA 2.0L engine

1. Nice one. I'm going with SI this time.

 

2. At least they have "transformed" the interior to meet the challenge. The current one is CMI. I hate that cheapo handbrake [laugh]. I still prefer the sleek exterior and look of the current one.

 

3. Another thing is, when the new one arrived, apart from the exterior, we may see a strip-down version of the interior...yet to see. Oops, could be another Taxi in the making.

This is a marked improvement as far as exterior is concerned. They should have done it previously.

What's the big deal about a car used as a taxi ? Make you feel malu or wat ?

 

At least if you kenna retrenched and become a taxi driver, you are already in-tune with the car. No need orientation period.

 

On top of that, spare parts will be easily available when the make is common.

sonata! taxi in disguise!

 

There are many Taxi models around and this is one of the best. I've "tried" them on the road, apart from cornering, they are pretty fast on straight. This is just not another Taxi on the road.
