Cockroach scared of heat?

Cockroach doesnt scare of heat, and there are plenty of nice and cooling gaps within the car for them to hide. So even you sun baked your car under the hot sun also cannot kill them!

Recently alot of ants appearing on car, mainly outside n along doors lining

 

The gap between doors n car body

 

I tried to spray baygon n sheltox but they come back next day

 

I wonder is the insecticide attracting them omg

 

Pls teach me a way to kill them n after reading I will try to park under sun

I experienced having ants crawling outside the car because I parked under a tree. Saw them grouping in the front lower windscreen. Used insecticide both outside and inside the bonnet. No recurring problem when car is parked away from the tree which was infested with ants.

Had an ant infestation, stuck a sachet of ant bait to the outside of my car (where it doesn't get wet, eg inner edge of door panels) and after a week all is gone.

i am sure there is some expert "fumigation" companies that deal in cars... I did once with the CALTEX car wash that did some sort of "fogging" which claims to help kill bacteria and other unwanted crawlies... i think it quite worked cos after that, i think my car is "cleaned"...hehehe

got one time an ant nest dropped on my car roof. freaking hell the whole colony of ants went amok on my car. i open the door, at hinge area one whole highway of ants. i felt like i was driving an ant infested vehicle around.

 

but good thing was, they automatic went away after a while. they will look for feasible place to make nest. apparently cars arent really an ideal choice.

 

BUT NO GUARANTEES FOR COCKROACHES THOUGH. i kena those white cockroach. irritating pests. pandan should work. those old taxis also always will put.

 

some fleas as well will stay in car. so sometimes ill try to open window and drive, hoping they will self service and fly out.

 

the worst was there was a moth trapped in my ride. i suspected it was attached under driver seat, but didnt bother to check. after few days it suddenly fly into my face while driving. luckily didnt cause any accident.

fogging or steaming might help. mostly remove everything in the cabin, including seats to clean up everything inside.

put a bag of moth ball in your car for few days to chase any insects away. Try not to breathe in too much of it also.

agree tat cockroaches very resistant....i even found a small dead cockroach at the bottom of my plastic container (for trash) which i taped onto central console...

maybe it ate the cockroach poison bait tat i left in my car but i always suspect tat there r more insects living in my car somewhere somehow....sigh

Put a few house lizards in the car, they should be able to wipe out the six legged colonies.

 

Then, use a lizard trap to retrieve them afterwards
