Sgnick 1st Gear January 8, 2008 Author Share January 8, 2008 Yep. Now that u remind me, see this LTA link http://www.lta.gov.sg/motoring_matters/mot...nwest_regis.htm It states "Armoured vehicles, Camper Vans, Caravan trailers, mini-buses with cooking and sleeping facilities and left-hand drive vehicles are not allowed into Singapore." Sgnick 1st Gear January 8, 2008 Author Share January 8, 2008 (edited) That's one hella car/truck! Cool, looks like kitted out for some road expedition. I found the website for this expedition, it's call Crazy Journey! Took them slightly more than a month to get to Singapore. Wonder how they gonna cover 44 countries http://www.crazyjourney.com/ It all started with a crazy idea, no one believed us, the challenge was extreme - then the thought in our heads came, 'why not' and the inevitable answer came, 'lets do it". Crazy Journey is a trip of a lifetime, four great mates, together on the ultimate adventure- to drive from Sydney to Ireland - and for a good cause.to create awareness about Youth Mental Illness. The Journey is being undertaken by 4 young guys, 2 from Dublin (Dave, Fintan) and 2 from Sydney (Chuck, Rhys). 2 years ago, in a stats lecture at University (something good can come from these boring lectures!) they had a crazy idea to drive from Australia to Ireland. The four guys had friends who had suffered from Mental Illness so it was decided that this epic adventure would be an ideal opportunity to raise awareness and funds for such a worthy cause. So, on the 3rd December this year, the 4 lads (all under 25) are leaving from the steps of the Opera House in Sydney in a converted Hummer H2 to travel over 45,0000 km for roughly 6 months through 44 countries and across 4 continents to drive to Ireland. We are actively seeking sponsors to support the event and 100% of all proceeds will be donated directly to Aware, Irelands leading youth depression support organisation. In addition we are ambassadors for SANE Australia our other chosen charity in Australia (see sponsors page for details). Our main sponsor AussieBum has organised to fit out our Hummer with cameras so we can produce a weekly video diary. Work is also in the pipeline on a Book titled '4 Lads and a Crazy Idea', as well as a 90 minute short film. Edited January 8, 2008 by Sgnick

Myths Neutral Newbie January 8, 2008 Share January 8, 2008 Hi, the number seems to be from Vietnam as they also have this vehicle and it's left hand drive. Not sure whether it is possible though as 51/52 is from HCMC, Vietnam. ↡ Advertisement
