juz found out that a cheap method to get rid of the dust.... buy a 80-cent china paintbrush and dust off b4 wetting them... less messy on the hands if u gonna use your fingers to dig into the hard-to-reach areas....

 

Too much work lah! I just use a cloth for the job. Leftover car shampoo solution, so become black never mind!

I used to use Armor All spray cleaner (about $9.80 per bottle). Worked well.

 

Then I saw what South East Tyre uses when they rotate tyres or mount new tyres (because they really make the rims squeaky clean in readiness for the stick-on rim weights) - WayWay Magic Cleaner. $4.70 for twin pack of 500ml bottles from Mustaffa Samsuddin (Serangoon Road). Basically 1/4 the price for the same results.

 

So, WayWay Magic Cleaner and a cheap paintbrush is what I use now. No effort needed, wet the rims first, spray on WayWay and brush gently.
