They should be teaching English, instead of doing engineering.Sure their standard of Enlish veri good,do they understand English,if not they dun even qualify to comment.When u say alot, I assume it's quite a big numbers, for me I have not come across handful of Chinese national who can speak n understand English. Maybe your circle of colleague are all elite.

we didn't think hard enough..... but truly 66% person of singaporean submit theeir fate to a brunch of world class "people" ruling this small island... with a fantastic 7% GST and increasing ERP....

Do you guys know that in the whole world, there're only about 6 countries that speak English thru out the country or in theri education system :

1)USA

2)UK

3)Australia

4)New Zealand

5)Canada

6)Singapore

 

Do you guys know that Singaporean has the best speaking English compare to the whole world, we able to understand Australia, British & American accent well, even those Taiwan, India & China English we will able to understand & dialogue with them at ease.

 

Do you guys know the way we trained to write is the best in both world (west & east), we always summarise & write straight to the point (short & sharp). Unlike those Ang mok that always write an essay just to explain a single thing/issue, which seldom ppl got patient to read the whole contents.

 

I'm just stating the true facts from my experience.
