Emils 2nd Gear February 11, 2008 Share February 11, 2008 Actually, I have been mistaking the old Mazda3 for the new Mazda 6 recently.
T_orange Neutral Newbie February 13, 2008 Share February 13, 2008 The back a bit like the sc430. Very curvy. The whole car gives a very aerodynamic feel.
Speed_ong Clutched February 13, 2008 Share February 13, 2008 Mazda 6 is one of the best car on the market now. Really sporty and interior is also top notch.

Vratenza Supersonic February 13, 2008 Share February 13, 2008 looks like mazda 3 with AE2 kit... powertrain is a disappointment...
Gnoikj Neutral Newbie February 13, 2008 Share February 13, 2008 Bro, can share why u think power train is a disappointment? Thx.
Vratenza Supersonic February 13, 2008 Share February 13, 2008 the power and torque figures for both engines are subpar compared to the same capacity engines in the market. Think 2.5 v6 of mark X and is250. Engine refinement has never been a feature with mazda. there is no arguement about the handling of mazda 6...I used to drive the 2.3L mazda 6...i should know... you can feel that the car can take lots more power...but just get disappointed by the pedestrain power delivery everytime..... Gnoikj Neutral Newbie February 13, 2008 Share February 13, 2008 Thx bro. I test drove the Mazda 3 before. Loved the handling too. Yah, agree the power could be better..Was hoping the new Mazda 6 would excel here...
Dymatize 1st Gear February 13, 2008 Share February 13, 2008 Mazda 6 is one of the best car on the market now. Really sporty and interior is also top notch. How do you think it compares to the Mondeo? Any opinions?
Azarael Clutched February 13, 2008 Share February 13, 2008 i feel it looks nicer exteriorly and interiorly than the mondeo but the mondeo is larger and is suspect to be more comfortable and spacious in terms of ride. the mondeo comes with a six speed gearbox so i hope the mazda 6 does too. really nice front wheel arches and grille.......why is it mazda 6 designers are always so whereas the subaru ones are all mazda must have a really good person in charge of the zoom zoom concept while subaru employed all the rejects from design school
Vratenza Supersonic February 13, 2008 Share February 13, 2008 hmm..... why the sudden interest in subaru? Din remember anyone comparing the mazda design with subarus? agenda?
Azarael Clutched February 13, 2008 Share February 13, 2008 wah, u really have a oversuspicious mind i just dun like the design of all subarus....really, i can't stand the interior design and how messy looking the engine compartment is.....i just thought that the new mazda6 is really good looking and perhaps the best looking compared to all the other regular jap brands IMHO. but from experience, dont buy a mazda when they first launch it....usually the prices comes down after a while.... Vratenza Supersonic February 13, 2008 Share February 13, 2008 haha... maybe i too sensitive becos I was driving the last gen Mz 6 and now driving Subaru.... I guess looks wise quite subjective..but i agree to disagree with you If i beg to differ... this is a subaru engine compartment: Yap, agree that dun get the Mz 6 when it's first release...price will come down jialat jialat...kenna first hand experience... Azarael Clutched February 13, 2008 Share February 13, 2008 the recent autocar I read at borders reviewed a 1.8 liter version of the Mazda 6. I was shocked that such a underpowered and small engine be used for the car. does the 2.5 liter engine have any technological improvements ? the honda and camry's 2.4 L 4 pot is reasonably powerful to me Agreed that the Mark X/Lexus IS250's V6 is among one of the best V6s in the business..... maybe with the MPS version, adding a turbocharger will help the 2.5 liter's power...and bring smiles to mazda fans..... ↡ Advertisement
