I read a quiz which makes me laugh. I like to share with you all:

"This is Soooo confusing. Mom read S storybooks to Maverick. His sister read twice as many storybooks. If in all Maverick heard 9 books. What is S=?"

Many people start to ask which grade is this? [laugh] Have fun.

Basically ... they want you to use picture instead of simultaneous to solve.

M M M | S S S | S S S

<------9 books------>

So 9 / 3 parts = 3

There since Mom read S storybooks, S = 3.

is the book porno? if it is then i need to add the factor of 69 into the compound fraction. However if the sister is reading two books simultaneously then i may end up with a zero scalar....

please be specific

Most likely to be Pri 3 Maths question. My daughter in Pri 3 now, also get this kind of question.

Assuming that Maverick's sister also read the storybooks to him.

Mom=S

Sister=2S

Maverick heard 9 storybooks in all so, S+2S=9 --> 3S=9 --> S=3
