today went to crystal jade suntec for dinner.

 

saw a couple sit down on the next table. guy about 30+ chinese and lian looking gal quite big bone type.

bought royal sporting house sales item too and leave it on empty chair. guess what he do next.

 

the next thing is the most amazing thing - take out his bmw car key from his pocket, flip it out of the key leather and leave it on the table.

is there such type of people still alive?

 

very interesting, i still wondering what is he trying to proof to who and what?

YOU MUST BE SOME GREAT HERO. How i wish i were like YOU!"

 

His face would turn white in shock.

Then red in embarrassment.

Then he would quietly keep his key.

But I can understand this guy mentality.

I believe he is not really showing off to the people around him.

His is just simply showing off to his lian girlfriend.

 

Its just a ploy to get this new chick into his car.

I confess, I did use this ploy many many times to hook up girls. So I know what he's thinking when he does that.

 

Most likely the chick does not know he drives or has a BMW yet.

 

Today is confession day for me.

After I changed to this new car recently, the stupid key is very HUGE( same size as a retro motorola pager), I also take it out and place on the table or wife's bag when I am sitting down in restaruant/coffeeshop.

Relentless pursuit of Perfection my foot!!....this key design is a pain in my ass/crotch each time I sit down!!

yup. nothing wrong with putting keys, wallets and also mobile phone on the table....

I think there will be ppl that are uncomfortable with think in there pockets...

i also do that leh.. but i no key pouch.. i will throw my wallet, house and car keys and handphone on the tabe

I also place my wallet and/or handphone (depends what pants I am wearing) when I sit down and the reason is because my pants are too tight (because growing fatter lah) and it feels uncomfortable. But I will never place my keys on the table.

But if I am serious about this girl and assuming this is the first date, I will just use BMW (bus MRT walk) and see if she is really bothered that I don't drive. If she is bothered by that, I will bring her to the taxi stand and introduce her to the taxi uncle. Taxi uncle also drive what.

Actually I am still holding on to my BMW card, especially useful when I want to do short trips during office hours into CDB.

 

Just want to ask other bros: Some of the car keys are really long (like Sunny and some Hondas I think) and damn pokey when you place them in your pants' front pocket (you know the hidden one at the top of the pants), you guys don't feel uncomfortable ah? My key is okay as it is quite small and round (keyless ignition kind and only 7cm long with no visible key).

i agree wif u comfy... i strongly believe in cold hard cash... if someone has a lot of hard cash but chose to drive a small picanto compare wif someone driving a BMW but wif not much cash and savings, what's the point if the person is driving a BMW...?

ok guys. just to clarify after some study - the key that the dude flip out of the key pouch is a 7-series car key. he didnt put any wallet, handphone or etc on the table except this car key. btw, the lian galfriend weighs at least 60 kg with all the big bones.
