I'm driving a Jan 06' 1.6M and get a average of 12.5km/L no matter how I whack or what condition. Never got to 13km/l before but never fell below 12km/L before too [laugh]

Its a really nice ride and with coilovers its better. But its a entry level car so there is little comfort which equates to a raw drive which I like.

Do check the REAL mileage of the ride, as my odometer is currently showing approx 18000km and its coming 3 years. But my real mileage is 78000km as the LCD light on the odo panel went out and Komoco replaced the entire speedo compartment (what is the correct name ah?). Luckily it was within warranty else it would have cost $400.

Cheers!

my definition of low/high mileage..

0-20 km/day - very low mileage

20-40 km/day - low mileage

40-60 km/day - average mileage

60-80 km/day - high mileage

>80 km/day - very high mileage

So in my books.. your friend's car just fall into very low mileage while the Getz is average mileage.. [;)]

well i guess everyone's defination of low mileage is different but i do agree with our defination...my fren's car is definately very low mileage and the getz issnt exactly low mileage, more like normal...definately not under utilised.

probably tat has to do with ur NCD and years of driving experience, your age contributes to it too.... so im guessing your probably below 25, little years of driving experience? if not i dont think theres a reason for it being so high...

Well.. my NCD is 0 since I never owned a car before, I'm 25 and I got my licence in 2003. The quotes I was talking about are for comprehensive.

Just got a reply for TPFT cover, 2.9K!! really is hur.gif

I do have the option of using my parents' name for the insurance, but I rather not, since I am determined to buy my own car and not have them involved financially or in name. Guess I have to wait 1 more year then :( shakehead.gif
