I think it's more likely that Toyota or more likely, Borneo Motors, has commissioned JRD to produce sports rims for their cars as an option.

On the quality of JB prdts.. don't forget our proud Corolla new owners are using JRD rims disguised as a Toyota org. rims. When you drive on NS, you see quite a number of billboards advertising JRD. Its the pride of Msians man.

You can find tons of centre caps in tyre shops like Khai Wah etc of any makes... Toyota, Nissan, Merz etc etc....

Put on the JRD rims and it will be priced at low and reasonable prices.

Slap a org car make logo in it and it will be priced at a premium.

Well, when they say that sports rim comes with the car, they didn't say what brand, right? Anyway I don't think they'll give expensive rims like OZ, Fondmetal, BBS or Momo. Usually cheaper Taiwan or Malaysian made ones. Their thin margins make it difficult for them to offer any good stuffs.

Me using MOMO rims (Quazar 2), and I strongly agree that it is the badge that makes the rims being priced at a premium...

Fo rme, it is the design and the weight, more than the brands that I look for. In terms of durability, even expensive brands would be dented or chipped at times of tyre punctures , or kerb scrapping incidents......

IMHO...

Cheers

so the conclusion is 1 price 1 quality.

so prepare to pay for quality,do not always place $ the first priority.

this principle apply particularily to service Industry

they are not like Doctor and Lawyer has their own watchdog to look after customer benefit.
