In the past, each Civic generatation consistently lasted 5 years with face-lift usually in the mid of the 5 year. So current Civic should last till the year 2010. But hearsay that the current generation is so successful than Honda may keep it till 2012.

1.6L one is only 109HP and 145N.m, even worse than previous one, 110Hp and 150N.m

 

hmmm anyone knows for sure whether this latest tomyum comes with the old inz-fe engine for the 1.6? Because all along i had the impression that the engine is simply the 1nz-fe till the sgcarmart article mentioned that it's the 3zz-fe. But anyway dual vvt-i but no valvematic right?

Altis had been using the 3zz-fe engine since the last model.. 3zz-fe is 1.6L, 1 nz-fe is 1.5L

1nz-fe is use in vios..

 

and the new altis does not come with dual vvti..
