Keyless entry, driver door not not functioning

My ride came with factory keyless entry, a card in place of key. Where just need to tap the door handle to unlock.

 

The sensor on driver door no longer functioning, any specific workshop I should go for this? What's the damage?

 

Went a few places, nobody know how to fix.

Probably you should go back to your agent as your car should be still under warranty, right?

If yr mech have disconnect the car battery without connecting a memory back up saver, all the default setting will be erase. The other possibility is a very weak car battery.

maybe is the drive's side door gun (it really like like one) lose...

 

a lot of workshop should know how to do it back (cost many $15-20)

 

if is broke then you got to change a oem gun cost about $30 and $15-20 to fix it

u mean the actuator? but usually, if the actuator is spoilt, it will have some grinding sound... hey TS, got weird noise or not when u try to open the driver door?

You should list the problem more clearly. I am only stating the possibilities, not neccessary the right solution.

actuator.. either u buy honda parts fr outside to fix or goto singtech get 3rd party ones.

another possibility is the nut locking to the door bar is loosen. this uses an alan key to tighten. so effectively the actuator is working ok but now push and pull along the bar, no action.

 

try listening to the door to hear the clicking sound. if got click means working, no click means actuator spoilt.

 

why othr doors working? becos the circuit controllin this passes thru a master soleniod/ relay. so if signal in, controller activate soleniod, signal and power goes out to the actuators.

I guess TS mean that when he tap his car door, the door won't unlock, while other door will unlock when he tap the door ?

 

Actually I would think it's the sensor has got problem not gun.
