Found a video of the 3.5L JDM Teana with black interior and projector headlamps.

 

Its a pity this option is not available for SG.

Not available in SG? I did saw 3.5 ytd, but aint sure is it JDM. Can't rem for the interior and projector headlamp. Teana poisoned me

The local model is only available with a beige interior, 2.5L and 3.5L do not come with projectors as well though its factory fitted with HID.

 

IMHO, projectors look sleeker.

 

Center console is slightly different as factory fitted GPS is only available in Japan.

 

Dual sunroof is similar.

I would have preferred the black interior. Beige is going to be a big pain maintaining it. Have to steam clean very often. Was told Tan Chong feels that black is not classy enough and thus they did not bring it in. They could have provided it as an option.

For personal, I still prefer beige. Look spacious and soothing. Black is nice too tho. :)

I agree with Tan Chong's view though as Black do not look luxury compared to beige no doubt black is easy to maintain than beige.

Agree, it would have better if was offered as an option, one man's meat is another man's poison.

 

Personally I feel that a beige interior feels more luxurious while black is sportier.

 

Maintenance wise, beige does stain and look worn more easily while dust and sweat stains will be contrasted more easily on a black interior.

 

I steam clean yearly and the beige leather still looks worn, removing stubborn stains on plastic panels and door sills is also a pain.

The initial catalogue I was had the projectors, which I tot they would bring in but alas... It would be fantastic if the 250/350 had the projectors

Decided on the 3.5L after testing it today, low end drivability is superb and CVT noise is almost non existent, car's ETA is mid-end December.

 

Body value of 230JM is pathetic though.
