is your alarm stock or OE ones ??

if its OE and due to the shock sensor that trigger it, u shld be able to do a one-time shock sensor disable. this is to prevent the vibrations from the thunder to trigger it.

eg Crimestopper shock sensor is able to hv one-off shock sensor disable. mine shares the same problem when parked in an open carpark during a heavy thunder storm.

just tk the manual to ck found there is remote shock sensor override press button 1 +2. but is only temporary. think when next door open will reset to normal.

each time when there is thunder i hv to de-active the sensor. [sweatdrop]

if u want perm disable... just set the 1st + 2nd level activation sensitivity to the min.... this way even a dump truck hit your ride also wun get any activation.

one other way is to unplug the cable from the sensor module... [laugh]

Hi bro, i have the same with my STW800 alarm. The installer change the shock sensor to another location and everything seems to be ok liao....

The other method is to disable the shock sensor.....

Get your installer to do it for you.

loc of the shock sensor is impt to ensure a all round protection against impact and also correct trigger.
