How to remove TAR??

what's the best product to remove tar on the car body..

 

scratched my paint recently using the sponge while washing it..

 

now need advise on what to use for easy removal...

Hi bro Prodigysaint, don try to scrub off the tar using sponge or cloth, sometimes you will induce scratches onto the paint work.

 

For those off the counter products, you can try the paint cleaner from Meguiar or Mothers, these should be able to remove the tar. Alternatively you can also try products like JW Prime or Clearkote RMG, I always have no problem removing tar using these 2 products .

i normally use autoglym SRP ... just rub a little on affected areas, and then wipe off..

Yeah SRP quite good to remove stuff, I use it to remove left over adhesive from stickers and emblems.
