Cool Neutral Newbie April 29, 2002 Share April 29, 2002 MIne is ok.. BUT.. i used turpentine to clean the "suspect" area and wash it with AuriGold Wash. it is ok now, survived yesterday rain.
Magfocus 5th Gear April 29, 2002 Share April 29, 2002 How is the AuriGold wash? Any good?
Cool Neutral Newbie April 29, 2002 Share April 29, 2002 (edited) It is good cos (to what I feel) 1. Biodegradable 2. Do not leave a layer of wax.. Good for taking out dirt but not general wash of the car body. I bring some on Tues.. you can try. Edited April 29, 2002 by Cool
Magfocus 5th Gear April 29, 2002 Share April 29, 2002 Ok but you mean its not good for washing of the car's body?

Mondeo Neutral Newbie April 29, 2002 Share April 29, 2002 So it's the problem of windscreen or the wiper ?
Guyver 1st Gear April 29, 2002 Share April 29, 2002 Basically... usually it's wiper problem... i think i only encoutner this problem when i apply Rainx..... TB... did u apply anything on your windscreen?
Turbobrick Neutral Newbie April 30, 2002 Author Share April 30, 2002 I applied Rain X years back and didn't reapply since but the shudders stayed! Will have to resort to the harsher approach of doing abrasive polishing of the windscreen liao. My wipers are quite new and even after 3 wiper changes also shudder so definitely windscreen related
Magfocus 5th Gear April 30, 2002 Share April 30, 2002 Just saw in carrefour a rain x glass cleane. Wonder if its good
Turbobrick Neutral Newbie April 30, 2002 Author Share April 30, 2002 I'd advise U to steer clear of Rain-X glass products......unless U think the wiper shudder effect is cool
Magfocus 5th Gear April 30, 2002 Share April 30, 2002 Relax man think the shuddering is getting to you! My wipers started shuddering yesterday as well, put on amourall again and it disappeared
Turbobrick Neutral Newbie April 30, 2002 Author Share April 30, 2002 Relax man think the shuddering is getting to you! My wipers started shuddering yesterday as well, put on amourall again and it disappeared Well if the permanent way is to rid of silicons on the windscreen then adding Armorall is just slapping more silicon when the wipers are in action! So no more armorall for me, lemme try the scratch hog and I'll feedback.......probably try on a side window first in case it's too abrasive.
Magfocus 5th Gear April 30, 2002 Share April 30, 2002 Have you ever used old newspapers to clean your windscreen?
Mondeo Neutral Newbie April 30, 2002 Share April 30, 2002 wah 50/50 also guess wrongly--it's windscreen problem. Next time dun just change & change the wipers loh.
Turbobrick Neutral Newbie April 30, 2002 Author Share April 30, 2002 Tried with newspaper and glass cleaning foam too.......believe me everything suggested I also try liao. I think my skin thinning faster than the windscreen
Magfocus 5th Gear April 30, 2002 Share April 30, 2002 Short of changing the windscreen, guess Scratch Hog is the last resort! Let us know how it performs ↡ Advertisement
