I'll get some of the Scratch Hog powder recommended by PC, will try with the orbital buffer and see how's the results.... [:|]

No need to use orbital buffer. KAH Motor just used hand and slowly polish. I saw them do it. The product on the website is the whole Scratch Hog 2 system. The one KAH motor used was just the Scratch Hog powder and a applicator (round sponge).

Oh.. the process is very messy. Polish already have to wash car.

Also, most probably after that you will need a new pair of wipers. Likely your wipers also contaminated already.. better change a new pair to prevent staining the windscreen just after u polish.

Should work .. I also have every single windscreen product out there (white/black spirits .. u name it) and didn't work. This one did!

(See Post #13961 on this thread)

KAH told me it is very costly... but one container will last you a lifetime. Why don't u just get TB to spare u some?

I'll get a bottle of scratch hog and share amongst members ok? [;)]

Sure. Anything to get rid of the shudder. This morning was raining again and the wipers started to shudder again. This got to stop. If I put this HOG thing, must change wipers?

Mine only about 8 months old.

Gavin, maybe u should try other shampoo. My wipers start juttering after using 3m shampoo. I dunno if it is really the culprit?

Hi TB

If you armourall the blades, would it help? Just a thought as it would keep the rubber soft

I used Turtlewax, Mother's, 3M, Armorall, KIT, Mama Lemon all caused the wipers to judder lah......I don't think it's the shampoo. [:/]

I tried armor all on blades and cleaning the windscreen with a non-streaking foam lasted one rain only.....not a permanent solution. [:(]

If we're gonna try the scratch hog thing, I think must clean the blades with alcohol to prevent the silicon from armor all from coating the windscreen again.

hi all, me also had this wiper shudders problem but after i clean the wiper rubber with my STP son-of-a-gun protectant, the problem seemed to have gone! what i did was to really wipe hard with the protectant thingy (you wont believe how dirty it is...) and let it dry before putting down on the windscreen, no shuddering problem so far, which is great!

Yah. Armor All is amazing stuff .. very difficult to remove... and silicon based.

I changed my wipers after KAH polished my windscreen. Since then, I just wipe it with water and car shampoo (Z7) and no more judder. Similarly windscreen just water+Z7 and then finish with Autoglym Fast Glass (zero residue) and newspaper.
