hi, have a problem today. hope you guys know what it is. kia forte 1.6sx of 5 years and 4 months old, 77Kkm mileage. Today the car jerks at idle at red light, and i can see that RPM slight jumps up and down, like 400rpm - 700rpm. Usually it is idle at 400rpm without up and down. The jerk is about every 4 seconds, not constant jerking. can feel the car tremble. When i press the throttle to accelerate during travelling, the car will jerk again, and does not accelerate instantly as normal. after a while it accelerates to a higher cruising speed, then it's OK again. During jerking, the engine light flashes like 10 times. when the jerk stops, engine light becomes off again. I just changed engine oil and engine filter 2 months ago. Is this worn spark plugs, or ATF due to change (coz it's been a while), or both, or something else? Thanks. -
Hi bros,need some advice on my car jerking issue,my car is a 9 year old toyota corolla fielder with 34k mileage Previously it has jerking issue during acceleration(only jerks between 2000-2500rpm),after I went to a workshop and changed the fuel pump/fuel filter/fuel regulator/gas pedal sensor,the issue was solved However,these 2 days,I started ferrying my friends,one of them is 160kg and the other is around 85kg.When I accelerate on slopes or to overtake,the car will jerk(between 2000-2500rpm again)and lose power until I release the gas pedal,and accelerate again When my 160kg friend got off the car,the car has no issues and got the power again,I would like to ask if heavy weight could cause the jerking issue? thanks bros

many times on the roads hv noticed taxidrivers bullying others by tailgating, road hog, jus cut in2 lane w/o signal, jus stop at side of road...... i've expereinced it n many other mcf bros n sis hv also encounted it. m not biased against taxidrivers, my late father in law n late uncle were taxidrivers but i feel the present generation of taxidrivers tink they are the kings of the roads. a fren of mine tinks tat taxi companies. LTA, govt linked companies who surely hv shares in taxi companies, are slow to take action coz taxi drivers are in the front line of the tourism industry and do not wan the drivers to bad mouth the govt , so v hv to bear the brunt, its jus not right and mayb mcf members shld hv stickers that say "98% of taxidrivers drive like jerks!!! r u one of them ??" hehheheh, the 2% of taxidrivers are hardworking, honest, friendly people who v shld b proud of..... btw u tink its 98% 99% 100% or jus 50%????

To all Bros and Sis, My 3 yrs FD1 just done 100K servicing but when the car starting travelled ard 1500 to 2k rpm I can feel the car jerks a bit something like hokkien says "Tiong Yu" after that it runs smoothly. This also happened when doing U turn or do turning. Though not a big issue but very irritating. Send back to AD, they kept saying no problem. Can any of the car expert help me to solve this issue? Really appreciate. Btw, I hv change my spark plug and battery new during my 100k servicing. TIA.

My wiper jerks like on super panic every time the rain gets heavy. I see a film deposit after the wiper sweeps and have tried these cleaners so far: - mama lemon - autoglym glass polish - JIF - Vinegar - pure alcohol - thinner/spirit All did not help, wipers still jerking like siow I even changed three different sets of wiper blades, one wiper arm and now empty pocket with jerking wipers HELP!!!!!!

Help! Car jerks violently from 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear

Gd afternoon all, My bro's 91 Daihatsu charade just decided to fall sick - whenever he drives and switches from 1st to 3rd gear, the car jerks violently like a crazy bull! The mec has checked and found nothing wrong with the pistons, spark plugs and radiator Grateful if anyone could assist in this 'phenomenon' Thanx a zil
