Sgnick 1st Gear May 19, 2008 Share May 19, 2008 Was at parkway yesterday to checkout the Terios7. U guys are right about the interior plastic and the door closing is really not as solid as carens, but that's because carens built is really good. terios door is just typical budget-japanese-like, not as good as the highend japs, but not as bad as the malaysian or chinese. But the plastics materials used, is very malaysian/chinese. Space wise looks good. Boot is slightly bigger than carens. 3rd row seats is squat position type, typical of most smaller MPVs, and my head is 1 fingerspace from touching the roof when i sit at 3rd row. Plus not head rest for 3rd row seats. Comparing terios7 to other 7seater SUV like captiva, santefe, vanguard and tribeca, terios is definitely an affordable alternative SUV worth considering and well worth the $, as the saving$ is significant. Mivec9 1st Gear May 19, 2008 Share May 19, 2008 it sounds like good buy to me. with 1.5l capacity....it can be next sienta beater! for heavy ride, the FC of 12km/l is definitely very good! Anyone has more pics on this ride?
Coolpica 4th Gear May 19, 2008 Share May 19, 2008 I don't think it can be a sienta beater. Rather it offers an alternative to people who wants a SUV that can ferry 7 people. Other SUV which can ferry 7 people are at least 2L and above.

Coolpica 4th Gear May 20, 2008 Share May 20, 2008 I don't if Sin Ming allows test drive. The package includes: roof rails, side steps, 16" rims, spoiler, Kenwood DVD with reverse camera, leather seats and Huper Optik solar film. I don't know if the price has gone up. The last I saw it's still $66800.

Albeniz Turbocharged June 3, 2008 Share June 3, 2008 The Toyota Kijang is a very popular SUV/MPV in Indonesia. Does anyone know why it isn't introduce into Singapore?
Coolpica 4th Gear June 3, 2008 Share June 3, 2008 Think Toyota Singapore doesn't permit BM to import this model? From what I know, BM has to seek permission from Toyota Singapore if they want to sell a particular model here.
Albeniz Turbocharged June 3, 2008 Share June 3, 2008 But what is the reason behind?
Carbon82 Moderator June 3, 2008 Share June 3, 2008 BM decided not to put Kijang (better known as Innova in Malaysia & Thailand) after some market research. Beside the fact that Thai make car are still not a widely recieved by buyers here, the panel van look alike shaoe may not to be everyone's liking... ↡ Advertisement
