fast....how fast then consider fast? with good piping, there can be little or no lag.

u probably have not seen gtti boosting in excess of 2 bars eating silvia back then....wrx and evo back then are also not bo jiat....of cos, those gtti are with serious mods...but still using the heart of the charade engine.

 

the golden days for this car is long gone.....no more spare parts...else, probably there will still be many on the road today.

im nt sure whether his 1st gear can hit 100kmh anot...But my lgt only needs 2nd gear to reach 100kmh. Its not surprising...

why should i...? this car is almost as old as u, boy. [laugh] how much u know about this car?

if u can hit tacho like 8 or 9k, why not.

 

been there done that...witness it.

my present car with rev cut at 6.8k rpm can already hit above 80kmh....with rev cut remove and retune....why not...u should be able to do it on ur lgt too.

i have not seen a gtti with excess of 2 bars but i've sat in a 500hp evo boosting 1.7bar at full throttle...

im not under estimating them, juz thinking how much power can u squeeze from a 1L 3 cyclinder engine? 160hp? and probably with such a big turbo, the turbo will take quite a while to spool... and anyway we shdnt compare it with evo and wrx, they are at a different class....2L tc vs 1L tc?

we're talking about rpms and honda b engines had one of the highest rpm ranges and if they cant hit 100km/hr at gear 1 i doubt other jape makes can...but then i dont know much about gtti like u said [:p] , nv had experience with any either.... [:/]
